In more than 30 seasons as a professional arts administrator, Scott Freck has worked alongside outstanding conductors, soloists, composers, orchestra musicians, and fellow staff to bring music into the lives of many communities. In that time, he has experienced again and again the life-affirming and ever-evolving power of art, and is continuously inspired by its ability to connect people, both with ideas and with each other.

Together we are stewards of humanity’s most enduring treasures and yet also have a unique ability to impart positive change – perhaps now more than ever, as our country emerges from a generational health crisis and reckons with its past failures to ensure equality and equity for all.

Freck fervently believes that we – all of us – have a renewed opportunity to be a beacon for the limitless possibilities of humanity, a refuge in troubled times, a crossroad where people from diverse cultures can share and compare experiences, and a wellspring of education and inspiration for future generations.
